What is the ESNcard

ESNcard is a membership card of the Erasmus Student Network that gives members access to all services provided by ESN and its partners. This includes discounts and deals for specific establishments with drinks, food, cheaper travel, gift cards, cheaper ESN events, and many more, in 41 countries across Europe!

How to get ESNcard

You can get your card at ANY of our ESN events (in-person). But according to Slovak law, in order to get an ESNcard, you need to pay a membership fee. For our section, it’s:

  • 15€ during Welcome Week
  • 20€ during the rest of the semester

This payment is one-time for 12 months. Additionally, when getting your ESNcard, please don’t forget to bring your ID or passport and a portrait photo in the size 25x35mm!
As for activation and validity, the photo must be glued on the card for it to be valid, and you can activate it in any section anytime for 12 months.

How to access your benefits

To access your discounts, you need to register your ESNcard on the ESNcard website here!

  1. Create your account by clicking „register“ in the upper right corner of the website.
  2. Make sure to check your email for a confirmation link.
  3. A new tab will open after you click on the link, where you need to provide your personal data.
  4. Choose the mobility program you’re enrolled in  (Erasmus+ program: internship, Erasmus+ program: study exchange, etc.).
  5. Select your home university as a sending institution and select the university you will be attending during this mobility (Trnava University, University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius) as a receiving institution.
  6. Insert the number of your ESNcard and the correct date since it’s valid. Make sure you select the same start date as on your physical card; otherwise, it may affect your benefits and discounts. This cannot be modified at a later stage, so be careful and double-check!
  7. After you fill in all the information, click on „Save all changes“ and enjoy using your discounts!
